The New York Chiropractic Council is celebrating a win after working diligently with state legislators for decades to help them understand the role of chiropractic in promoting health. Dr. John LaMonica, the immediate past president of the council, sits down with Dr. Ron Oberstein to discuss the science behind addiction and a Medicaid pilot program that promotes chiropractic for people suffering from lower back pain in an effort to reduce the use of opioids.
Dr. LaMonica has been in private practice in White Plains, NY since 1987. He is the immediate past president of the New York Chiropractic Council, as well as past president of the Congress of Chiropractic State Associations.
